Upgrade your classic Volkswagen with this brand-new 98-0431-B AS41 Magnesium Engine Case 043101025, designed as a direct stock replacement for VW Bug, Bus, Ghia, Type 3, and Thing. Manufactured from lightweight magnesium, this case offers better heat dissipation and precise fitment, making it superior to heavy aftermarket aluminum cases.

This universal engine case features dual relief oil passages, a factory-style grooved cam plug, and pre-installed 8mm case savers. It’s compatible with various displacement setups (1500cc-1679cc), making it an excellent choice for stock rebuilds and mild performance upgrades.

🔧 Installation Notes:

This case comes with a Type 3 dipstick mount. If installing in a Beetle, Ghia, or Bus, a block-off plate is required (sold separately).
Designed for standard 69mm crankshafts but can be clearanced for stroker builds.
This engine case does not include hardware. We recommend purchasing the necessary case bolt and stud kits for a complete installation.
